A fun, flawed manga. Died young, but I liked it

The Terminator parody is blatant, but the series is quite hilarious because of it. It's also surprisingly cute given the rather perverted premise. VERY funny series, but unfortunately it was canceled. The author was apparently pissed off about that since it really shows through the ending. It's a shame, because this is a series that's really starting to get even better as it nears its end, but then, well, it ends. I wrote a long review on this series. Really, I kind of see WHY this series was canceled, and not necessarily in a noble "it was just not for the audience!" sense, but a "well, some things were wrong with it" sense. I did enjoy the ride, though.

Charming Action Romcom With An Abrupt Conclusion

This is another action romcom manga, built upon American action movie references and inspiration. It's enjoyable for what it is, though the ending is lacking since it introduces major plot hooks and does some reversals which were ultimately unnecessary. A big plus is that the art is consistently cute and competent, but not to a truly standout degree.

Very bad ending

The series was.....unique but interesting. Good comedic setups.
But the ending really was lacking to put it best.
Love how at the end they brought in America as the new guys who will control the world in the last few pages of the series.
If you're gonna add in a new group, do it BEFORE the last few pages of the series.
Kinda pissed me off since that was virtually just thrown in for no reason.

Terminator, the manga

The story is still new (only 9 chapters translated as of this comment), but its very, very good.

The manga lampshades a lot of typical manga tropes: horny male teenager that can't score, good female soldier thats kept in the dark and an emotionless robot.

But the manga also isn't afraid to burn the damned lampshade because of how overused the tropes are: the male teenager (nearly) scores with TWO of enemy girls in the first THREE chapters, the female soldier tries to figure out why she was chosen before she is even dispatched and the emotionless robot learns to supplement her ignorance through pop culture instead of love and friendship.

The end result is a goofy, but also deadly serious gag story. One moment the enemy robot girl is pinning down the male protagonist. The next moment, the enemy robot girl is being cannibalized by the emotionless robot.
