an interesting side of Karasuma, no way one won't want Tenma to meet him after reading this chapter.

Yea, I never liked Karasuma, but that was mostly because he was my favorite character's, Harima's, love rival. Now that Harima has let go of Tenma (in a sense; he still has a ways to go), I really don't have much hatred towards the guy anymore. For the first time since I started reading this manga, I actually felt sympathy for Karasuma. It was a very powerful chapter. I hope that he can see Tenma one last time (it looks like his condition is a lot worse than we imagined).

Yeah, until fairly recently Karasuma hasn't really been portrayed as much more than an impediment to Harima, and a goal for Tenma. He's never really had any personality of his own or shown any real emotion, he was just sort of there. He's being humanized much more lately.

I know that it's coming to a close so naturally the drama is being cranked up a notch as it all comes to a head. This chapter was obviously not supposed to be funny and that's cool, I guess, since it was a good chapter as it was. I still miss the funny though. I haven't laughed at this manga in a while now. I wish they would still mix a little more humor in there.

That's what I was thinking.. Like, he was one of the stronger characters, but not really there to be himself, just to be seen as a goal for Harima to overcome..

Somehow I thought the chapter was perfect, and just what was needed for School Rumble to really kick into gear.. The whole time I thought Karasuma really was like an alien from another planet or something lol, but in the end he really is just like everyone else and his hardships prove it.

I like how he is now and think it's a good idea to let Karasuma have some drama, because after everything I've seen of him in the previous chapters and episodes, I always felt like they would flip the script (again..) and we all find out it was just a dream, or a tv show, or a manga piece that was in the show and not REALLY how things are going..

WOW. #1, it's VERY weird to see Karasuma with emotions. #2, totally unexpected, sad, and powerful chapter. Not very School Rumblish, but I guess it's just another sign that the end is near.

That was a pretty heavy chapter.
