I'm looking for a fighting manga where a weak/normal guy learns how to fight. I'm looking for something on the realistic side. 55s2l

Like:
shamo, hajime no ippo, holyland

Not something pretty unrealistic like history's strongest deciple kenichi..

Must say i would also like to see a few more of those.
Maybe Change guy. A bit unrealistic and char isint all that weak at the begining but still a good read.

Also Noritaka. Realistic, funny, detailed and char starts of really really weak.

is noritaka worth a read? I was looking through martial arts manga to read and came across it, but the part in the description about him flying through the art crapping.. I'm not that into scat.. Oo

I'll give it a try.. I'm not really looking for a Gag manga or something thats like a bunch of episodes or one shots

check out

veritas its not realistic per say cause of the abilities, but its still really good fighting manga

The Breaker is prob something you will like the main character is such a wimp for now. the fighting is somewhat realistic so far, its kinda like history's strongest disciple cept i think its potentially more badass and not as unrealistic.

Not much out, but you might want to try Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru.

I'd be interested in seeing more from this genre as well, and I'd like to second Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, despite its low number of scanlated chapters.

  • Garouden.

  • Grappler Baki, some moves are exaggerated but not to the same level as in Kenichi.

  • Tough.

Thought I'd recommend these although in all these the main character is already pretty strong to begin with.

Try worst, it's much, oh much better than holyland. They dont describe every single move, they just do the move. MUCH better
