Take On Me was fine as a title, Domin-8 Me! gives a very different impression. I wonder if the original Japanese title had the same suggestion. 3mo5t

Well, title is written as "テイクオンミー" in Japanese...which is literally just "Take On Me". I guess they decided to make up a new title for the official translation since "Take On Me" is essentially 3 English words stuck together to sound cool for a Japanese audience.

I'm thinking the issue was similar to "Sex Pistols" being changed to "Love Pistols" because "Take on Me" is actually the name of the a certain popular song by A-Ha.
