This is absolute PERFECTION! I'll it although it's up on my top 5 list, it's not my fav fav. The reason for that is personal taste and nothing else. 3173l
Let's say this, my opinion is that this manga exceeded the limits of it's settings with execution. Alot of times mangas have interesting settings, but the mangaka failed to pull that potential out. Bakuman I feel is the complete opposite.
This is...
I dunno if it's the translation (probably is...), but I'll say I understood less than 50%. I had no idea who was talking and who they were talking to.
Rolan's personality is rather... strange. Or should I say confusing? I have no idea what his personality is since everything he does keep throwing me off. The fact that understood barely any of the speech may have a role in this as well.
Other than...
The story is... boring. And plainly speaking, it ticks me off. It's like a cheap copy of Yugioh, which main audience is: kids. What's with that crying and poor cards talk? Like a beginner would have such a strong emotional reaction to minor details. Pretty typical of card game mangas, but still...
BUT! PRETTY~ That pretty art is worth everything! I'll pretend I'm reading an art book and not a...
Of course, one chapter in isn't gonna tell me much, but this does look promising. The one thing though, I'm not sure if I get what's going on enough... Would probably had helped if there was a summery up...
I originally thought this was a shounen-ai manga, or manhua, when I first read it in raw. Didn't think too deep into it, but the scenes are much more mild than most yaoi mangas. Well... thinking of it now, it was a lil over the top for shounen-ai.
First volume in, can't say much. I'm looking forward to the second volume... while holding myself back from reading the novel. It seems interesting and...
Oh my goodness makes you want to read the next so bad! ><
Well... only 1 chapter so far so not much I can say.
The story seems interesting and promising, and certainly not one you see everyday. As for whether it'll turn into a sucky shoujo will have to wait an see, but I have my bets on not, or at least it'll be of some interest...
Art... er... pretty good? I guess? The scan quality is terrible...
To hell! They killed xxxspoilerxxx!!
Well, other than that, it's a gem disguised in the form of scrap. It's a thin line between the two, and honestly had me fooled.
Art's horrible... but reading it it's not that I think it's unreadable either. Not horrible to a point of no return. I prefer anime though... 2011 ver.
The plot is like I said, well disguised. I thought the Greed Island arc will become...
Boring, average, but good time waster. I read it just for the sake of seeing ID blast his opponents away. Honestly, other than that, there's not much worth to this manhwa. It's a very common problem with manhwa, they start out interesting but gets boring and pointless very soon. Interesting settings, but no koreans are able to pull the potential out. Therefor, manhwas sucks.
Well, like I said, it...
Quite frankly... the art sucks. The face is wayyy too damn large. The anatomy is weird. The faces aren't all that good either, or rather, they're bad. The art's a huge drawback to this manga, and honestly a waste.
The story in comparison isn't that bad at all! As expected for a seinen, it's nothing of those cliche shonens. May not be the only one, but still original enough.
The one thing though...
Mermaids with no tails... again... GAH~ I came looking for mangas cause I was CRAVING for mermans, more like, TAILS! FINS!
But anyways, in all due fairness, this manga is by no means bad. It just... falls short for my lust for mermaids, the fish kind. It's been quite long since I read such a typical shoujo manga that doesn't suck.
You won't find all those twists and turns, there isn't much that...
Well, I don't think there will be anything above average shoujo's in here. Not that I expect any...
Two chapters in, it seems to be your run-of-the-mill shoujos, exactly like I expected when I started reading. Not unreadable, worth killing time, but there's nothing that goes above average either. You see these quite often, some girl summons or gets involved another way with a demon (king) and...
There is one major problem with this manga. What is it? THE NAMES DAMN IT! Italian or not, it's damn hard to memorize. Took me 5 chapters to get the names down >.>. That makes 1 name per chapter I suppose?
In any case, because of the naming, I have no idea what was going on for the first three chapters. Need to go back and reread it. But otherwise, there's really no complaint about this manga. The...
The first thing I thought finishing this, MOAR DAMN IT~~
Well, the oneshot as it is is pretty average though. It's not bad, but there's nothing quite special about it. Simply too short.
Perhaps would had been alot more interesting had it been a series and not oneshot. One thing though... I'd prefer this to have a male hero instead... in other words, bl.
Well... this isn't bad... it's just, feels so inferior compared to Saiunkoku no Monogatari. I dunno, feels like this kinda sucks, but not exactly. I suppose it's kinda too simple.
The art isn't bad, but again as I kept comparing it as the story is just so similar, it's not that great either. Yuulin (or Yuurin) kinda looks out of place. What's with that hair!? ><... Soo doesn't suit her or the...
I like both the original and the new series. Well, for me, the first few chapters in the original was the most attracting. After that... meh... I like them all about the same level. From the start I didn't really like Leon. It's not that I hate him, but I just don't care about him. There are places where he simply ticks me off and I'm on the verge of hating him, whether I ended up did or not, I...
Oh my goodness, I really didn't expect it to be as good as it is, seeing there isn't a description here on baka... Well in any case, while it may not be the most original of ideas, it certainly changes things up a bit from your regular run-of-the-mill. Often you see males serving females, and thus forming a reverse-harem, but the other way round really isn't much found in much ones that have a...
The one thing I hate about these mangas, one story can be great while another sucks. It's hard to rate and hard to comment. And another thing, they are simply TOO SHORT!
In any case, the first story was absolutely adorable. While like all other one shots, they are too short and tend to be a bit rushed here and there. Could've lasted another chapter or two longer at least, see it develop a bit more...
Well... I cried a bit. While time traveling is done wayyy too often in novels, specifically saying, those crappy online novels written by mainland chinese, yes, those in which does nothing but show off and swear, they aren't seen that much in mangas. And the rare occasion that they are shown, honestly, I didn't like those either =/. While 2 chapters aren't enough to say for certain that the time...
It's interesting, but nothing too special. I wouldn't go ahead and call it a great manga or a must read either, but it serves as a time-er well.
It's not really my type either, the comedies are somewhat the type I'd call "embarrassing". With that said, there's nothing real bad about it either. Nothing to make me hate it, nothing to make me love it. Kinda your average run-of-the-mill.
The thing...
I don't see the reason for the low rating at this point. It's not exactly that this is especially promising, but at only one chapter in, it's not bad at all. I mean, it's a shoujo, an on top of that the protagonist is afraid of girls, you can't expect too much detail out of the plot. Fanservice is what I'm after.
I'm expecting something that'll make me embarrassed to death sooner or later and...
