Description

Doting Paradox: In a school where students are into different classes based on their grades, there is a prince who is the idol of the school, a cute and shy boy called Renjou Kaoru. I might have read a different translation than everyone else, but I wasn't aware there was any rape in this. ML is pushy, yes, but from what I read, she was like, "nah," and he was like, "Ah, ok," and then she was like, "damn that face, tho," and then they had sex. Is he pushy? Yes. Does he harass her? Absolutely. If this was real life, would this constitute assault? One hundo. But it's called DEKIAI paradox, so I showed up for obsessive/toxic love and I got exactly that. But there's a difference between fiction and real life. The art is pretty standard, and the backstory is hinted at, but never actually explained, so it wasn't clear to me what the characters' starting points were, so it didn't feel like the ML or 2nd ML developed. I liked the heroine., though. She was complex

Just No.
I stop reading it in the middle as i can see the ending very clearly.
I would never recommend this, especially to little girls and teenagers.. this manga is really a bad influence.

Yeah yeah I get people not liking the whole falling in love with the rapist but if you read yaoi this theme is very prominent. As TV Tropes said for Gravitation I think, we tend to have double standards. Oh it is okay if it is a guy who is raped but it is downright wrong if it is a girl. I am in no way endorsing rape but this plot is better than a lot of yaoi rapes I've read. She could have resisted more than she did and at least there was a somewhat explanation for why he raped her. It is not the best plot but I liked it more than average.

No. There's "forced love" that's readable, and then there's "forced love" that is completely unreadable. This is the latter.

The female lead has a guy she likes and because the male lead is supposedly in love with her, he rapes and molests her because he's jealous. In front of the guy that she likes. You're telling me that the female lead is just going to forget all of this and just give in? At least in the beginning she tries to stop him, but later on she does nothing about it at all. Where does her fight go?

I think what makes this particularly bad is that the female lead has a guy she likes but she still doesn't try to fight the male lead. I didn't even make it ed the middle of the second chapter. Avoid this like the plague unless you can somehow overlook the rape and molestation that the mangaka somehow thinks leads to love.

Yeah. It's ridiculous that she falls in love with someone she "really" hated, unless she didn't hate him that much. And if I think about it, it seem like the Stockholm Syndrom soo.. It eventually makes sense?

Ya know, I always get to read this kind of story and of course, I already expected how the ending will be. But something about this manga feels very...wrong. It's not like I hate the story, it's just that I dislike how Kaoru sleep his way with other girls and all. Then again, it's a manga. I liked Yukito the best of course, but well...our heroine is dumb enough to like Kaoru. rolls eyes Typical manga.

I like realistic stuff, well mostly. Some unrealistic tendencies are cool and dreamy and romantic at times, but THIS? just no. I was expecting

her to freeze up at the last moment because she ed the bad experience, but come on. you never fall in love with your rapist. I mean I kinda get it if its like captured and he's the only one in sight for like days or weeks because that's a natural reliance tendency. I can't say its good, but still realistic.

the only part i was happy with

though she fell in love with her rapist, he didn't reject her. Now that would be realistic because he already had so many girls. It would break my heart even more if she like confessed to him then got rejected. :(

Yes, the plot is terrible, the characters are terrible, but if you're into the forced love thing (as many smuts out there), then this is for you (to be honest, that can be me too XD). So yea, read, if you want SMUT, although there are more smutty stuff out there btw.

Oh one more fell-in-love-with-the-rapist manga. It's quick, short, no deep love progressing between the characters. The rivalry is not fair and too fast. How could that girl show her face in front of the person she liked after being raped in front of him? Silly thoughts! And then the girl still wanted to be protected by him - who thought she was a weak girl - and almost made love to him. Then suddenly she realized who she actually liked and the guy-she-actually-liked appeared, disturbed their almost-making-love, and then she ran away with him! The end. They lived happily ever after.

Don't read unless you want to waste your time!
