Too fast

The plot in this series is rushing, and going on too fast. For instance, it would be good if the prince and the demon king (yeah, don't names, too lazy) would bond a little more. He just met the guy, and then decides to sacrifice his life? (When the villagers attacked him, I mean). A lot of mangas is similar to this. Really hate that.

Hiatus or scrapped?

So..... This really stopped on a cliffhanger, so the big question is; Is it merely on hiatus & will be continued eventually, or is that all there will ever be of it?
I know a lot of manga get canned prematurely, but they usually give some form of ending (even if it's very rushed & unfulfilling).

Good artwork but it was discontinued

On hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have picked up this series since I knew it was dropped by the mangaka after volume 2. But the artwork was similar to “ID” so it caught my interest. It’s too bad that it wasn’t continued, because I actually liked both the plot and artwork.

As an infant, a prince gets cursed to never use magic. However, he is the prophesized savior of the world and if not for the curse he is supposed to be a genius at using magic. As a result, the goddess gave him some protection against magical harm. Due to circumstance, he ends up releasing the demon king who was sealed 10 years ago. Fortunately, the demon king has lost his memories, and his powers can only be activated briefly through the prince’s blood. So both the demon king and the prince are in a symbiotic relationship where the prince needs the demon kings help occasionally in magic. And the demon king needs the prince’s blood to power up temporarily.

I liked that the demon king became a cute chibi kid when he was powerless, and that he looked pretty awesomely bishouen when he powered up. The wing on one side of his head was a bit odd, but still looked cool. The prince was the typical idealistic and naïve kid that ended up being overpowered by the demon king’s character.

Overall, it was a good story, and it’s regrettable that it wasn’t continued.

I really like the story. It, of course, has many elements we've already read in tons, but at the same time I can guarantee that you've never read that kind of story before.
Another addictions Q_Q I might even need to learn Chinese for it...

ok typical. typical would have been kalan getting his magic or power back at the exact time his friends where about to get smashed an destorying the dragon thats typical.

Oh, how typical~ typical~ and typical~
But since i have so much time in the world, reading it wont hurt.
The comedy is very "chinese" like. Quite funny
