Laptops ftw? 🤣
Vampire Knight...x___x I don't like that manga. But many other people do...
Ok! (: Hope you like them!

Oi, sorry if I seem redundant, but I just finished reading Kodocha!

All I have to say is that it was a truly amazing read. I reading a few volumes several years ago when I was a kid. I wasn't able to finish the series because not all of the volumes were available, but I do that I wanted more! Well, who wouldn't? 😛

Kodocha was the closest thing that has had such an effect on me since Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu. I am really grateful for the recommendations! Thank you so much!

I don't want to be bothersome (since this is probably the wrong section for all of this), but do you have some more recommendations? 😀 So far every single series that you've recommended has been a hit for me!

Oh! You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hahaha, don't give me so much credit, those are just some really well-known great shoujo manga! =] If you want more recommendations, you can always go to the I'm Looking Forum and make a topic asking for shoujo recommendations and I'm sure you'll get a lot of great manga suggested for you! That's the best place to go if you ever want to find a good read. ;]

My very first shoujo manga was...

...

...

I can't answer this question. I don't . ;_;

But the first shoujo manga I ever bought was Ouran High School Host Club (AND I still keep up with the monthly releases). VIZ's back cover of Ouran says "A must-have for all Hana Kimi fans!" so I ended up buying Hana-Kimi volume 1, getting djghdjgkhdgdhg obsessed and reading the series online because I had no patience, and then getting into similar gender benders (Power!!, Boku ni Natta Watashi, Ichigo Channel, CUTEXGUY, etc etc), and after I ran out of options, I spread to other series and got obsessed with scanlations.

So now I'm here.

Everyone's firsts seem to be 'popular' (a.k.a 'common') manga...

Well, mine was GodChild. Surprisingly, though I loved it, I still haven't read the prequel, Count Cain - I doubt I ever will now, anway.

Angel Sanctuary (Sort of counts. I didn't really finish it, my friend just kept trying to get me to read it). Followed by Absolute Boyfriend. Not just first shojo, but first manga I ever read. Which is ahahaha a terrible manga. Followed by Vampire Knight which I became obsessed with for about two years of high school.

Bride of Deimos. I was too young to understand it though and I didn't read it from the 1st episode, so it's ended up confusing to me. I also reading Tokimeki tonight when I was young and still can't differentiate shounen and shoujo. Makabe and Aron are my first bishounen. ^.^

Guru Guru Pon-chan was a little-known manga I randomly picked up over my lunch break some a little over four years ago. It was the first series that I actively waited on and collected volume after volume. It was a light refreshing read, bordering on funny rather than dramatic for a love story. I liked how honest the characters were with their feelings and how they've developed as a couple. HOWEVER, the ending was too rushed and too "convenient" for my taste.

Mine was Koukou Debut, although I think I started reading Special A first because of a cousin, but since I was kind of new at this, I left it on the first chapter (finished it later on). I found it so interesting, I got hooked and continued reading some like Hana Kimi, Power!, Vampire Knight, The Wallflower and the sort. 🙂
