Anyone read Otomen yet? I really loved this manga, I LOLed at so many part of the manga, and it has not bore me yet. Even when I'm reading the raws, I still could laugh at the scene, which shows how awesome this series is. I like Asuka and his "girliness'" and Ryo and her "manliness". They are far more interesting than many of the characters I read in other manga, and even the side-characters have interesting back stories. You must read it to feel the full awesomeness of this manga. 3jl3b
But to those that read it, don't you feel some scenes are meant as parody of shounen-ai? 😮

I always thought of it as a parody of shoujo...

Greatest shoujo I've read this year =D
I can relate so much with Asuka... xD
Wouldn't know if some scenes were parodies of shounen-ai since I don't read shounen-ai >_>

Yes, I've started reading this and I'm a couple chapters in.
It had me hooked from the get go and it's such a sweet story.
Like a complete twit.
A man that is unbelievably sweet and sensitive... yet HOT!
XD
I love it =)

i really like this manga, very different from this manga-ka's blank slate.
but at first i thought it was yaoi or something because the main character is incredibly girly.and also,i feel that it IS shounen-ai ish because the way that romance manga-ka [the one with long-ish hair] takes an interest on the main character 😛
*i forgot who it was,but someone [in the reviews,i think] said that the art looked like bleach O.o
i find that somewhat right, but i like this art better 😀 DD

It's really funny how he loves cute things 🤣 That's what makes him so adorable. This is one of the few good shoujos I've read in the whole year
I love Otomen so much ^^
I even bought the manga :3
But I think some stuff is over-exagerated
I don't find anything weird or feminine in a guy who can cook and clean and that stuff..
It does nothing to do with a Shonen-ai parody or something O___O
at least that's my opinion..

I just wish that the focus would also be on Ryo and her "masculinity" and see from her point of view as well.
