Okay, so I'm looking for exactly what's in the title. A friend of mine once saw another friend of mine (yeah I know, real precise) reading a manga where a man came home to his wife and he had a huge beard. Afterwards he shaved to reveal a most handsome face behind that shrub of hair.

We have the following clues:

• The art was good and well proportioned. Something among the lines of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. I know these are really different art styles, but it's so you can see that the art was good.

• The man was probably wearing jeans. So we're not talking about historical mangas. Maybe.

• The man appears to be nostalgic about something. Perhaps lying down thinking about stuff.

I know this is really imprecise information, but me and my two friends are going crazy trying to where was this from! Please help us by telling us about all kinds of manga where a man shaves his beard to reveal a very handsome face!

I'm not giving up! I'm bumping this so it won't be lost on the forum's ocean.
Does my poor description ring a bell for anyone?

There’s a chapter in Gakuen Babysitters that resembles yout description, but it was a side character who was an archeologist who came back with a heavy beard. Once he shaved it, he scared his toddlers.

Could this be it? Or was it a whole novel?

Not so much a husband returning to his wife, but in Koukyuu Days - Shichi Kuni Monogatari one of the lords of the province looked like a fierce grandpa before he shaved.

When my friend came up with this enigma I though about Gakuen Babysitters too, but my friend hasn't read it so it's not possible... Thanks anyways ;_;

As for Koukyuu Days, I'm not sure my friend has read that one, but I'll let her know so she'll check it out. I don't think that's it though, since she and I have read almost the same stuff. It looks like a nice manga though so I think I'll read it myself!

In the last volume of Kare First Love the MCs are helping a friend and his wife have a wedding ceremony (they were alreday married) and the husband comes in with the same beard he has had throughout the volume and the mc go "The beard... it's gotta go". 5 s later the husband shows up looking very young and handsome.
