Basically anything that isn't super-heavy-metal-rock with all the yelling and screaming or rap that doesn't have a rhythm or beat, that's just plain talking.

Listen to pretty much everything, must be in like.. Harmony with eachother. Death metal and crappy rap is just horrible. Much of my playlist is trance, psytrance and uhh.. general hard rock something.. Not sure.. And lots of nice vocals. I don't care what the song is about (something that has been a bit awkward at times, a girl once thought I were confessing to her when I recommended a song. But whatever)
Found that anime music has quite a bit of nice songs focusing more on good vocals. For an example, Nana OST - A Little Pain, Starless Night. Full Moon wo Sagashite - Eternal Snow, Myself. etc etc etc.. Could probably go on for quite a while 😃
Don't care one bit who made the song or what kind of person they are either. If the song is nice I'll listen to it.
This life sucked. Where's the reset button?

I listen to most genres really, except rap and techno. If I can feel an emotion through a song I will listen to it. 😀

Bump!!!
Currently into Orchestral music...listening to E.S. Posthumus.
I have no preference. I'll give any song a chance, regardless of genre.

I guess I too like everything that sounds good. I listen mostly to bands, some pop songs my old dad's fave, I guess I don't really listen to genres in particular

My favorite genre is metal, but in of my favorite metal sub genres I tend to like power, progressive, melo-death, black, atmospheric, and metal that incorporates electronic elements. I don't really like that popular metalcore stuff, though.
Oddly enough, I do listen to a lot of country music, A LOT (its forced). Basically, I'm open to everything. 😃
I care waaaaay too much... 🙁

Pretty much every type of music is fine with me. The only music I don't usually listen to would be rap/hip hop (even though I do like Lupe Fiasco), country, and 'screamo.'
I suppose Orchestra music is my favorite.

Being really into music, it's kind of unthinkable for me to limit my taste down to just one genre to start with, because usually I give recommendations at least a try and then maybe come to like this or that song exceptionally (e.g. because of the arrangements or lyrics). But -
Basically one can say, that I prefer soft rock, recently also acoustic and most artists on my playlist are considered as "indie".
"It's like love is a bonus in your life. Even without it, I'm just fine. I don't feel like pointlessly searching for it. You don't have to make yourself unhappy." (Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji)
"Why does it rain?" - "To create drama." (Drops (Andou Yuki))

Too many to list ...
Most forms of Rock. Probably Alternative the most, then maybe 80's or older rock
Techno and thing that branch off that or similar like Trance (expect I don't like dubstep ... that's what it's called right?)
I like foreign pop - J-pop, K-pop, French pop. Although I should learn the name of songs/artists heh. (Also North american pop, but that's not foreign to me lol)
Classical music (again should learn the name of songs/artist)
A dab of Country
It really ranges the only places it doesn't go is - Rap, R&B, Hip hop? , Dubstep, Jazz, Blues, other things similar to these.
Funny even though I like music from different genre sections I'm still picky about music.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
