I am in the mood for some manga that depicts a building/founding of a village/fortress/community from scratch. Presumably the MC starts gathering and resources and working together to build something up.

Doesn't have to be a war or action manga, slice of life will do as well 🙂

1st that comes to mind is Log Horizon, the anime.

Other than that, I think you can find what you want in many survival(ish) or maybe even Post- Apocalyptic mangas. The one most fitting probably being Suicide Island.

Re:Monster (Novel) (and its manga adapation) features the building a community, but it isn't from scratch.
