I try to use the scanlator online reader as much as I can, but after links from here were cut down I only go to the ones I'm most familiar with and have them in my history, for the rest I use batoto. Also there a long time since I used the others named, but sometimes I want to re-read a series that is licenced. 5m2m2f

If it is the latest chapter of a specific manga, I would usually use an aggregate site--mainly Batoto. Though this is only for scanlators that specifically only use Batoto. I usually visit the scanlator's website first.

However, if I am starting to read a multi-volume released manga, I would rather the series to read. The time it takes for me to load a page (couple seconds if I have decent internet/forever with terribad connection) is about the same amount of time that it takes for me to read a page of most battle shounen manga... Instead of 10-15minutes per volume of shounen, it may take me 20-30minutes to read on an online reader. Text heavy manga takes a little more time for me to read, but the loading time for online readers adds up. I prefer my pages to be loaded instantaneously for speed reading 🤣

Not to mention I'm a bit wary of certain aggregate sites since I got viruses from a couple of them...stares at mangafox (yay for adblock! but I'm still traumatized)

I used to prefer ing but I don't have enough hard drives for it anymore. The aggregate sites are just more convenient in general but I'll the release if its something I won't be able to find on Batoto.

The only thing I use other than the Scanlations is Mangatraders for easier access to things, and to get stuff that is no longer available on the original source. To put it simply, I it all, I read nothing online.

I also like buying manga, but there aren't many translated on my country, it's just not all that popular here.

I don't like them to be fair.
I prefer to use the groups page, however it's lately not possible.
Either the group is dead or the group prevents it with some method
(hide and seek plays,
adfly attack that prevents a (I don't have trouble with ing a group, but please 10 times clicking on those fly links kills my nerves, and I'm saying nothing about the possible malware),
a reader only release( Off course the site goes down when you're half way reading the chapter, really annoying),
or the chapter is... restricted to a limited amount of people 🙁 . A host is used that gives the message "you're IP range has reached the maximum traffic", so it's impossible to get the release, etc. and a combination is also possible.)

Good luck this is a minority of the groups. I'm still thankful that they're doing it, even if the number of releases and groups drops every week.

To come back to the point, I HATE the fact that the aggregate sites make large amounts off while doing noting for it (they let the work be done by other people, this goes as far as updating and maintaining the site.) While the owner fills his pocket and enjoys his live with all the fun.

Off course, 'aggregate' sites like Batoto are an exception this also includes the non-profit once.

i try to use just batato, the majority of the manga i read aren't published or given to a legal group like CR so i really don't have much choice.

there's always the option but... idk seems like too much work lol.

I use them for mangas I don't intend keep on my hdd, so it really depends of the manga itself. I mostly use mangahere since it's usually the first one to appear on google and by far the faster one to read online for me. Though I sometimes check the forums for specific mangas, especially mangafox, mangahere comment section and batoto comment section, some people are seriously almost as funny as the mangas themselves due to their silliness.

I my manga, so I don't use them for reading. but when I'm looking for manga to read and I don't know if I would like something, I go to mangafox, open second chapter of the manga on page 8 (because the first few might be credits and stuff) and read a few pages to see if it would be to my liking. very specific, I know. I'm reading a book about serial killers right now.

Please don't compare Batoto to any of the MangaShits. Batoto hosts uncompressed, full-quality images with reasonable ad space and shows who scanlated it. They don't steal, watermark, compress, and claim that content is theirs against the wishes of the scanlator groups that worked hard to produce it. And they also comply with publishers in taking down licensed manga.

Only Batoto. Only for webtoons (long strip format) and stuff I can't (very old chapters, DL links died). Other than that, I always read offline.

I think more of us are using it now since links on bakaupdates to the scanlators sites are no longer available. And it's harder to find the right site.

I only read manga online when I can't find it for . But about 99% of the time, I so I can read it offline. I use my smartphone and find it inconvenient to have to load pages one by one.

I only use them when the group only s them and don't have their own links to downoad or if the group no longer exist and I want to read the manga but in that case I only use batoto.
But if not I prefer to go to the page of the group, from there or read from their online readers if they have one, and say thanks.
