Yesterday Yeti Scanlations supposedly released volumes 16 through 23 of URASAWA Naoki's manga Happy!, but I can't seem to find this group or these releases anywhere, there's a blogspot page and a Google+ page with that name, but there are no posts in either, whats going on is this a fake group with fake releases or am I missing something? 4wr6s

Btw, for those interested I tried improving their scanlations by running a rudimentary cleaning script. Posted links in their comments section. Up to v20 right now. For those interested in a better reading experience.

Why is this a dick move ? And what the hell is sniping. Is the manga going away now and can never be worked on again ? None of the scanlators own it(hello Urasawa-sensei) or have the right to give anything away so i don´t have a problem with eather one and will enjoy all their continuing works i follow.
Everyone worked for free and Happy can still do their own HQ version or move on with their lives. Ashita no Joe has multiple translations too. Well done Yeti Scanlations.

Why should they bother working on the manga anymore? And once again, it was a project that literally years had been devoted to.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can show such amazing disrespect to those who bring them free work as long as they themselves get the series they want. Here's what happened: Yeti Scans should have in the interest of courtesy ed the other group (who had posted their TL was in the hospital). Instead they did a mass release without so much as a courtesy, which is incredibly rude. And to top it off, the quality is subpar. Inform me how you would feel if you worked on something for free for years, then had to take a break due to hospitalization only for a bunch of people to do a poor job and finish it while you recovered without so much as a courtesy call.

Also, Ashita No Joe? the majority of it was done by one translatior and only after other groups had dropped it completely for a good long while.

Hardly 'claiming' the project. Simply that sniping a series like that is looked down upon in the community. I'm hardly claiming anyone owns it but this is quite discourteous to all involved.
