I was expecting an exciting genderbender where a boy would fall in love with another who liked to crossdress, and they'd be lovers as two boys (not as a boy and a girl), but instead I got an extremely unrealistic and confusing story with zero re-read value. 2d2i11
The main lead character Sara actually annoyed me with her bratty personality, and the fact that she never listened to her mother just worsened...
Takanaga Hinako, what happened? It's safe to say that I totally regret reading this manga. I really love Takanaga sensei and I'm a huge fan of hers, but this has to be her worst work yet. It's definitely a huge disappointment. I didn't expect something this bad from a great mangaka like her.
The characters are what ruined it all for me. I really disliked Akira's and Kouta's personality, so there...
The first few chapters of this are somewhat amusing, but none of them have re-read value. The real reason I started reading this was because I wanted some BL, so when I found out that
Dio was actually Princess Christina in drag, I wanted to strangle myself. It ruined the whole point of the shounen ai genre. Thankfully they removed shounen ai from the genre section.
The only gay part in this...
...then you'll definitely stay for the smut. The art is absolutely gorgeous and erotic, not to mention impossible to look away from. I've always had a thing for nice art.
This is full of cliche short stories and uninteresting characters with zero chemistry. There isn't enough buildup for atmosphere and everything feels too rushed. I personally love this mangaka but am not at all impressed with...
For anybody wondering, this is purely fluff and shounen ai. All the stories are nice and have cute endings, but my favorite has to be the Cello Mellow one. The atmosphere between Sousuke and Mahoro remains strangely intimate.
Anyone who's looking for a light-hearted read should check this out. All the stories are enjoyable in their own way. My only complaint is that they should've been much longer...
I enjoyed this manga a lot because of the hilariously entertaining characters. Personally, I liked Baku and Ichi the most. Yes, I ship them. They have this kind of relationship where you just have to ship them. Honestly, they're so cute together.
The overall story was okay, even though it was extremely generic and stereotypical in some places. I think the mangaka overdid a few scenes, but it was...
It's definitely a typical shounen-ai "brother incest" manga.
-the oldest brother has a weird personality
-the second oldest is all caring and stuff (and he HAS to have glasses, for some reason)
-the third oldest is the silent, mean, "Don't misunderstand. It's not like I like you or anything" type.
Then, comes the kawaii, shota-looking, yet noisy and short-tempered, adopted youngest brother.
Of...
I can't tell whether I'm happy or sad after reading this...It was just so weird, but not in a bad way. It had a really creepy atmosphere, though. I did enjoy it, despite it being a oneshot (I don't like oneshots), but that was because the art was just so beautiful.
One thing that has to be said is that: this mangaka needs to get an author to write good stories for her, so that she can draw them...
I'll tell you why I didn't like it. Ayukawa. Yeah, yeah, I know he's like the 'uke' or whatever, but I guess I just didn't like his personality very much. He didn't do his job right. He didn't act like a proper teacher, you know?
The only reason I read this manga in the first place was 'cause it's by Mishima-Sensei, and I LOVE her stuff. I'm not trying to say I hate or dislike "Isso mou, Kudokitai...
Um...I guess the story was good in some ways, but who wants a good story with boring characters? And...their relationship somehow felt like it didn't even exist in the first place...
Mishima-Sensei usually does pervy and funny manga, so I guess this one just didn't do it for me.
Yep, that's about all it was. Amusing. The reason being is that I'm a huge sadist and I like people who are sadists. (a.k.a. Naruse) Sadists are funny. Everything about Naruse is creepy: his eyelashes, his lips, the way he talks...and his personality.
I mean, look at this: I bawled from laughter!
It's an awesome way to get someone to listen to you...Maybe I should try it....
Anyway, this is a...
Yamamoto Kotetsuko is so awesome. Her art and her stories, both. Seriously, I really love shounen-ai mangas like this one, the ones that make you feel sad and happy at the same time.
The characters were adorable and since all the stories were good... I have no idea about which one I liked the most.
All I can say is...if you want to read a cute, light, shounen-ai manga which makes you feel all...
Itaru was really cute and I loved Kouki's personality. It was funny because at first it seemed like Kouki really didn't want to get involved with Itaru.
The ending was kind of...I don't know...It could have been better, but that's probably because the manga itself should have been longer.
Overall, though, it was a good, fun read.
As aforementioned above, this was the first yaoi manga I've ever read. My friend told me to check it out and I regret nothing. What's funny is that I jumped into it without even knowing what the heck gay means. So this manga is what got me into the whole boyxboy genre.
Nakahara and Kojima have a very innocent and heart-warming relationship. It's nice to see all their different interactions and the...
Wow, this is why I love Kazuhiko Mishima.
She is so good at making me laugh and cry at the same time.
'Lovers Doll' was so heart-breaking and the story was just so good.
This is what made me tear up...and then on the next page...
"Those two must have gone to Heaven together." I can't explain how heart-broken I felt after reading that, but I really think it did happen...and it somehow puts my...
This is the kind of the thing that you read because you're bored or just want to the time with something.
At least, that's why I read it.
Anyway, this oneshot was pretty good and the story was really sweet~
It was actually just another version of the story: Tsuru no Ongaeshi (The Grateful Crane) but not completely.
Go read this right now because it was really nice!
Oh, yeah...I wouldn't...
